In such a situation, most of the parents are worried. If you are also very upset with this behavior of your children, then this article is for you. Here are some tips by following which you can teach money management to children. This will prevent your child from making unnecessary expenses. So let's know about those tips.

Get a piggy bank for the kids
If you want your child to save money, the most important thing is to get them a piggy bank. This means that whenever children get money, they will put it in the piggy bank instead of spending it wastefully.

Assign tasks to children
You can assign tasks to your children, like if you have some work to do. You can get that work done by your children. When the children's work is completed, you can give them some money to put in the piggy bank. This will make the children realize how much work has to be done even with less money.

Don't show off in front of kids
You should never show off anything in front of your children nor should you tell them that you have no shortage of money. If you shower money on them and keep repeating the same thing again and again that you have no shortage of money, then this spoils the child and he starts spending money without thinking.

Explain with example
Whenever you are going out somewhere and on the way you find a beggar or someone who is wandering for money, you can give examples to your children to explain that this situation happened when a person did not have money.

Play games with children
If you give your children Rs 200 per month, you can play games with them. Tell your child that if he saves Rs 150 per month, you will give him Rs 20 extra. And if he is unable to save money, you will take Rs 20 from him. This will help the child save money.
