A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal. The petition seeks action against Sunita, alleging that she illegally recorded court proceedings in violation of video conferencing rules. The allegation states that when Kejriwal was produced in the trial court on March 28, Sunita Kejriwal and others recorded the proceedings.
A lawyer named Vaibhav Singh filed a petition in the High Court saying that Sunita and others not only illegally recorded the proceedings but also shared it on social media. The post related to this audio-video recording was shared with the money trial hashtag exposed by Kejriwal. The petition states that the situation in which the audio-video recording was made viral seems to be a conspiracy of some political party. An attempt was made to tarnish the image of the court and show the common people that the court is working in favor of the government and under pressure.
In this video viral on social media, Kejriwal is seen presenting his side before the judge. During this, he mentioned electoral bonds and alleged that the accused in the alleged excise duty scam have funded the BJP. The petition states that many AAP leaders and many members of opposition forces deliberately leaked audio and video recordings of court proceedings on social media.
