New innovation to check heart beat: While the discussion of technical textiles is constantly increasing, a startup from Gujarat has prepared a vest with the help of technical textiles. This headset can monitor the heartbeat of the wearer and record data five times better than other systems. An Ahmedabad-based startup has also started production of this smartwatch, which can be an alternative to smartwatches. It has been included in the shortlist of five startups for the Textile Leadership Conclave to be organized by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries on June 15.
pineapple fabric
Another startup has prepared fabric from pineapple. Gujarat Chamber has planned to promote startups bringing innovation in the field of textile. This material is made of nylon, polyester and spandex (a material of Lycra). It can be washed up to 40 times in the machine. It can also be used for one and a half years by washing it by hand. These pants are made from the same material as the pants worn while cycling or running. Researcher Prashant Verma has said that since silicone is used in it, there is no possibility of skin irritation. Its patent has been obtained by a young man from Ahmedabad, whose clinical trial will now be started.
However, its trial will start after getting approval from CDSCO. Innerwear for women measuring heart rate will also be prepared. There is also a plan to make fiber from pineapple leaves, thread from fiber, fabric from thread and garments from clothes in the textile conclave. Innovator Jayshree Shah says that the process of making these threads and preparing fabric from them has been completed. Its purpose is to make cloth and ultimately extract material from them. The specialty of this shirting material is that it has the ability to absorb sweat quickly like a cotton shirt made from cotton thread. The second advantage is that after absorbing sweat, the shirt dries faster than a cotton shirt. There are more than eleven sub-sectors in the field of technical textiles. This includes agrotech, medical tech, defense tech, protective tech, sports tech.
