An active member of TSPC area commander Rahul Ganjhu surrendered

Ranchi, 01 July (HS). Rahul Ganjhu, an active member of banned Naxalite organization Third Conference Presentation Committee (TSPC) area commander, surrendered before Ranchi SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha on Monday. The Naxalite who surrendered is a minor. He is a resident of Ranchi's Budhmu police station area. Impressed by the surrender policy, the minor Naxalite surrendered before CRPF 133 Battalion and Ranchi Police on Monday. A case is registered against him in Budhmu under various sections of Arms Act, 17 CLA Act and IPC.

After surrendering, the minor Naxalite said that he joined the organization because TSPC's zonal commander Rahul Ganjhu had threatened to kill his entire family. After joining the organization, he roamed in the forests of Siram, Damaru, Aktang, Lahatu with the squad members. During this time, in February 2024, he threatened the owner of Budmu Petrol Pump and also fired in the air in Chakmay. Rahul Ganjhu, Vikam Ganjhu, Rubilal Ganjhu, Chhathu Ganjhu, Harinath Ganjhu, Chhannu Ganjhu, Almod Ganjhu and I were involved in this incident. A few days after this, there was firing with the police and our squad, in which our comrades Almod, Harinath Ganjhu and Chhannu Ganjhu were caught. We ran away to save our lives. On the persuasion of CRPF Commandant Amit Kumar and Deputy Commandant Mutyunjay Kumar, influenced by the surrender policy of the government, he surrendered.
