An elderly woman was standing in line to cast her vote at booth number 35 in Mohalla Shiv Dwar of Amroha Nagar. After some time, as the woman came out after casting her vote, she collapsed. Seeing this, there was chaos at the polling booth. The health department team present there took the woman to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Khurshid Ahmed, who lives in the family, said that the 72-year-old woman went to the booth to vote. After casting her vote, she came out and fell on the ground and died.
