New Delhi : In the quiz based reality show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', many contestants come and win the hearts of the audience with their stories, but the host Amitabh Bachchan also does something similar, after which he starts being discussed everywhere. In the recent episode, Amitabh had announced to help a female contestant and now he has fulfilled this promise.
Actually, 27-year-old Naresh Meena, a resident of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, appeared in an episode. He won a prize money of Rs 50 lakh with his talent. He told in the show that he wanted to become a sub-inspector but could not do so due to brain tumor. He was suffering from brain tumor since 2018. Somehow he underwent surgery in 2019 but the doctors could not remove the entire tumor.
Amitabh Bachchan announced to undergo treatment
Naresh Meena had told that she can be treated only with proton therapy because the tumor is in a critical condition. She had said that she will get her treatment done with the prize money won in KBC. Amitabh Bachchan got emotional with the words of the contestant and he promised the contestant that he will try to bear the expenses of her treatment and now he has fulfilled his promise.
Amitabh Bachchan did not go back on his promise
Talking to Times of India, Naresh Meena said that after the show ended, Amitabh Bachchan's team contacted him. Big B's team has told him to choose whichever hospital or doctor he wants to get treated from. The team has assured him that Big B will bear the entire cost of his treatment. He said, “I bow to him with folded hands for this.”
