Ahmedabad, July 3 (HS). Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Ahmedabad late night on July 5. Shah will attend many programs during his two-day stay.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Ahmedabad on the night of 5 July. After staying overnight here, he will attend the program organized on International Cooperative Day to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on the morning of 6 July. 5 thousand cooperative leaders from across the country will be present in this program.
After this, on July 7, Shah will join the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad. Before the Rath Yatra, Shah will join the Mangala Aarti of Lord Jagannath along with his family.
The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath which takes place on Ashadhi Duj in Ahmedabad is considered to be the second largest Rath Yatra in the country. This time it will be the 147th Rath Yatra.
Security agencies have already been alerted about Amit Shah's program. This time around 18 thousand 784 policemen will be deployed on the 16 kilometer long yatra route for security.
