Patna, 16 May (HS). Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday attacked Lalu Yadav fiercely. He said that I know that Lalu Prasad Yadav wants to make his son the Chief Minister, but why is there so much lust for power that the opponents of the backward classes have sat in the lap of Congress. Bihar will not be served well by swinging sticks. For that, strengthen the Modi government at the Centre, which has given mobile phones to the youth of Bihar instead of sticks.
Amit Shah was addressing an election rally on Thursday in support of Janata Dal United (JDU) candidate Devesh Chandra Thakur from Sitamarhi Lok Sabha constituency of Bihar. He described Narendra Modi as the first Prime Minister of the country, who comes from a very backward class. Amit Shah also enumerated his work done regarding reservation. He said that only Narendra Modi will connect Sitamarhi with Ramayana Circuit.
The Home Minister showed a tough stance on the issue of POK and said that Pakistan occupied Kashmir was ours. It is ours and will always remain ours. We will take him at any cost. Amit Shah appealed to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again by voting for JDU candidates. While addressing the election rally at Goenka College ground in Sitamarhi city, Amit Shah targeted everyone from Farooq Abdullah to Rahul Gandhi and from Lalu Yadav to his son. Amit Shah said that Farooq Abdullah tries to scare us that Pakistan has atom bomb. We are not afraid of anyone but we are not going to scare anyone.
He said that Congress and its allies never asked for PoK. Rahul Baba might be afraid of Pakistan's atom bomb, Farooq Abdullah might be afraid, I am not afraid. During this time, the Home Minister also mentioned the PM's promise to remove Article 370 from Kashmir and said that when Article 370 was removed, Lalu Yadav had opposed it too. Lalu had said that if 370 is removed, rivers of blood will flow in Kashmir but now no one has the courage to even throw a pebble in Kashmir. Lalu and company cannot develop. They want to push Bihar into the lantern era but instead of sticks, Narendra Modi has given smartphones with cheap data in the hands of the youth. Lalu Yadav remained in power for 25 years but never gave Bharat Ratna to anyone but Narendra Modi gave honor to Bihar by giving Bharat Ratna to Jananayak Karpoori Thakur.
