Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched 10,000 newly formed multipurpose primary agricultural credit societies (M-PACS), dairy and fisheries cooperative societies here on Wednesday. On this occasion, many dignitaries including Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy and Panchayat Raj Head Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, Union Ministers of State for Cooperation Krishnapal and Muralidhar Mohol and Secretaries of the Ministry of Cooperation were present.
Shah began his address by paying tribute to two great men – Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on their birth anniversary. He said that Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya was the foremost among all the heroes of India’s freedom struggle. He worked throughout his life to bring awareness towards the country’s independence, Indianness, culture and Hindutva, while Vajpayee guided the country’s Parliament by becoming the voice of India and culture for five decades.
It is because of his many new beginnings as Prime Minister that India has been able to reach those heights today. Atal ji established the principle of giving nuclear power to India and fighting for the country’s land during the Kargil war. He created a separate ministry for our tribal brothers and sisters of the country. He also launched the Golden Quadrilateral Road and launched the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to connect all the villages of the country with state highways.
