Tunisia's PM Ahmed Hachani sacked: After Bangladesh, another Muslim country is facing a political crisis. In Bangladesh, PM Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of PM and fled the country, but in this country the President dismissed the PM. In Tunisia, North Africa, President Qais Saeed on Wednesday dismissed the country's Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani without giving any reason. Also, Kamel Madouri, Minister of Social Affairs, has been appointed in his place. This information has been given by the President's Office. Ahmed Hachani replaced Najla Boden on August 1 last year but Saeed also fired him. Now no reason has been given behind this. The President was democratically elected in 2019 but he tried to seize power in 2021. There were also reports that in 2022 he amended the constitution to form a presidential system of government with very limited powers of the Parliament. Now another term is being sought in the election to be held on October 6.
Last year another PM was sacked
Tunisia's President Qais Said had also removed a Prime Minister from his post last year. He was not even given any reason. Ahmed Hachani was made the Prime Minister only after Najla Bouden was removed, but now he too has been removed without any reason.
Parliament was dissolved in 2021
In July 2021, the President of Tunisia dismissed the country's Prime Minister and dissolved the Parliament. All this happened because people in Tunisia were angry with the government's failure to deal with the Corona epidemic and were protesting across the country. The protests turned violent. A large number of protesters took to the streets in almost every region of Tunisia and there were violent clashes with the police.
