Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have been made observers for Maharashtra. Both these leaders have been appointed to select the leader of the party legislature party in Maharashtra. BJP legislature party meeting is to be held in Maharashtra on 4th December. The leader will be elected in the legislature meeting and then further action will be taken to form the government. Vijay Rupani is in-charge of BJP in Punjab.

In Maharashtra, both BJP’s allies NCP and Shiv Shiv Sena have chosen their legislative seats and leaders. At present NCP has chosen Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena has chosen Eknath Shinde as its leader. But this process has still not been completed in BJP.

The leader whose name will be approved in the meeting of BJP legislature party leaders will stake claim to form a coalition government in Maharashtra under his leadership. BJP is the largest party in the grand alliance. Everyone’s eyes are on who will be the leader of BJP. If sources are to be believed, Devendra Fadnavis’s name is at the forefront in this race.

Shinde vs Ajit Pawar in Maharashtra?
More than a week has passed since the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections were declared, but no official statement has come out yet regarding the formation of the government or the face of the Chief Minister. Although it is almost certain that the Chief Minister will be from BJP, there is tension between the two major parties within the Grand Alliance. Some leaders of Eknath Shindewali Shiv Sena are expressing their views on Ajit Pawar’s party NCP, while on the other hand, NCP leaders are expressing their views about Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena MLA Gulabrao Patil said that if Ajit Pawar’s NCP had not been a part of the grand alliance, the Eknath Shinde-led party would have won 90-100 seats in the elections.

Ajit Pawar had joined the Shinde government in July last year and was made the Deputy CM. Patil, a minister in the present government, said that we had contested elections only on 85 seats. Without Ajit Dada we could have contested elections on 90-100 seats. Shinde never asked why Ajit Pawarwali included NCP in his government. Praising Shinde, he said that Shinde is a person with a big heart. Who believes in confrontation instead of anger.

Ajit Pawarwali’s
NCP leaders remained far behind. Reacting, NCP spokesperson Amol Mitkari said Patil’s ministerial post was in danger. He said about Patil that he should not talk about such small things. Mitkari said Patil should first consider joining the cabinet. This time his chances of becoming a minister are very less.

Shiv Sena leaders angry at Union Minister
Not stopping here and in the midst of another testimony battle, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad targeted Union Minister Pratavarao Jadhav and BJP leader Sanjay Kute. Gaikwad won the November 20 election in Buldhana by a narrow margin of just 841 votes against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Jayshree Shelak. Gaikwad claimed that Jadhav called a close aide of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and asked him to field Jayshree Shelke against him. Apart from this, Sanjay said about Kute that he also called Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anil Parab and made this recommendation.
