Amethi resident Vidyavati ji was happy to get the Chief Minister’s residence, the Deputy Chief Minister sat next to him and inquired about the situation.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji approved houses to provide a better life to the poor women of Amethi. In order to bring positive improvement in the standard of living of poor and deprived class women, he distributed approval letters and demo checks of ₹ 1.20 lakh to 18 eligible beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme. Door-to-door assistance: Deputy Chief Minister reached Odari village and personally handed over the housing approval letter and check to the beneficiary of the scheme, Krishna Maurya, at her home. Benefits of other schemes: Housing sanction letter, benefit of widow pension, income and caste certificate and sanction letter of ₹ 5 lakh under Farmer Accident Scheme were distributed to the beneficiaries like Nirmala, Siyaraji, Seema, Shanti Devi, Sumitra etc. in the village.

After reaching Odari village, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the house of Mrs. Krishna Maurya, a beneficiary of the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme, and gave her the acceptance letter and demo cheque, and after talking to the family, inquired about their problems. He directed the officials to provide the benefits of the schemes to the eligible beneficiaries on priority basis.

In his address, the Deputy Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the double engine of development and public welfare is running at full speed in Uttar Pradesh. The work of providing facilities like housing, free food grains, Ujjwala gas, Ayushman Bharat, electricity, pure drinking water, health, education and employment to the poor is continuing. The aim of the government is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in the society. It is the resolve of the double engine BJP government that the poor, deprived, destitute and needy families get the right to live life with dignity. Government schemes are not limited to papers, rather officials and public representatives are continuously working to ensure that their benefits reach the eligible people. By providing permanent houses to poor women and families belonging to weaker sections, the government is bringing a lasting change in their lives. Housing is not just a construction of four walls, but is the foundation of security, respect and better future of the family. Through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Chief Minister Awas Yojana, the dream of lakhs of families of owning a permanent house has come true.
