Worked for 30-35 years – Speaking to ANI, Amethi resident Congress worker Yogendra Yadav said that there is no disappointment in the party after Kishori Lal Sharma was given the ticket. We will definitely win from here.
Yogendra Yadav also said that KL Sharma is also a part of the (Gandhi) family now. He worked for the Gandhi family in Amethi for 30-35 years. He knows every booth and knows every worker.
Yogendra Yadav said, there is no resentment among the party leaders and workers after the ticket was given to Kishori Lal Sharma. Gandhi family coming for KL Sharma's nomination, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge will also be present.
It is noteworthy that Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Smriti Irani from this Lok Sabha seat. Along with filing her candidature from here, Smriti Irani is continuously campaigning and doing public relations.
Earlier there was discussion that a member of the Gandhi family could contest the elections from Amethi Lok Sabha seat, but on the last day Kishori Lal Sharma was declared the candidate by Congress.
