Moscow, August 29 (HS). Russia has banned 92 American citizens from entering its country. These include journalists from the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post, as well as many lawyers and well-known businessmen. The cold war between Russia and America continues amid the war with Ukraine, due to which relations between the two countries have deteriorated considerably.

At the same time, the US State Department issued a statement on the retaliatory action, saying that it is responding to the sanctions against Russian personalities. At the same time, it is yet to be verified whether all the people listed have American nationality or not.

The list published by the ministry on Telegram includes 14 employees of the Wall Street Journal, five journalists of the New York Times and four journalists of the Washington Post.

The ministry said Russia is targeting editorial staff and journalists of leading liberal-global publications who write about the Russian armed forces and tell the people their truth.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, the US and European countries have tried to isolate Russia from the world by imposing economic and social sanctions on it in several phases.
