America teased India by announcing advisory for citizens, said- 'Do not go to these 2 states..'

US advice for citizens: The US has issued a travel advisory for its citizens and asked them to avoid going to areas like Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur in India. The advisory says that while traveling to India, US citizens should avoid going to areas where Naxalites are active and should also not go to areas that are fighting the terrorist threat.

Threat increased in India: America

The US travel advisory says that do not travel to Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir, India-Pakistan border and central and eastern parts of the country. In the revised travel advisory for India, the State Department said that vigilance has been increased in India due to crime and terrorism. The threat has increased in some areas.

Level 4 includes many parts of the country

Overall, India has been placed at Level 2. But many parts of the country have been placed at Level 4. This also includes Jammu and Kashmir, the India-Pakistan border, Manipur and parts of central and eastern India. The US State Department said, “Do not travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (except the eastern Ladakh region and its capital Leh) due to terrorism and civil unrest.”

Advice to reconsider travel to north-eastern states

The advisory was issued in view of the possibility of armed conflict due to terrorism in the area within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border and the possibility of violence and crime in Manipur in central and eastern India. It also advised Americans to reconsider travel to northeastern states due to terrorism and violence.

'Terrorists can attack at any time'

The travel advisory states that “According to reports from Indian authorities, rape is one of the fastest growing crimes in India. Violent crimes such as sexual assault have occurred at tourist destinations and other places. Terrorists can strike at any time. Terrorists can target tourist destinations, transport hubs, markets, shopping malls and government institutions.
