America India News: CEO of this American giant company praised PM Modi

Jamie Dimon, CEO of American banking firm JP Morgan Chase, has praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that PM Modi has taken a large population of his country out of poverty. Jamie Dimon was speaking at an event. He said, 'PM Modi has done incredible work in India. I know the American liberal press, which is continuously criticizing Narendra Modi. He has brought 40 crore people out of poverty. During this, Dimon discussed issues like poverty alleviation in India, development of infrastructure and reform of bureaucracy etc.

Dimon said, 'Many American officials imagine India as we imagine our country should be run. Narendra Modi is facing challenges boldly in India. He said that governments of some countries criticize India on climate change and labor rights when they do not have basic facilities like toilets. Dimon further said, 'India has started a new trend of identifying people through fingerprints and eyes.' Actually, Dimon was talking about India's identity ID Aadhaar card, which contains data of people's fingerprints and eyes.

Infrastructure strengthened in India

Praising PM Modi, Dimon said that he has opened accounts of 70 crore people under Jan Dhan Yojana, in which direct government assistance has been sent to the people. Meanwhile, he also praised India's education system. He said that India has strengthened its infrastructure. Dimon said that to break the rigid bureaucracy you have to be tough, which is what Modi is doing. He said, 'We want something like this in America.' Analysts believe that Dimon was trying to signal that America needs a leader like PM Modi.

Many changes in India

CEO Dimon further said that there are probably 29 states in India which are similar to Europe. All these states have different income tax systems. That's why a lot of corruption happened. PM Modi is breaking all these things. Recently PM Modi has changed these things. Which America needed. Dimon praised PM Modi at a time when Lok Sabha elections are being held in India.
