Ahmedabad News: To avoid accidents while crossing the road on S.G. Highway, a 5 feet overbridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore. For this, AMC conducted a survey in collaboration with National Highway Authority. In which the work of foot overbridge will be started this year. The special thing is that in view of the increasing accidents, it has been decided to build a foot overbridge. Complete information in this regard was presented in the District Road Safety meeting. Also, in the road safety meeting, instructions have been given to put up sign boards and markings at black spots.

- Near Punjab National Bank Gota, between Gota Flyover Bridge and Elevated Corridor.
- Between Elevated Corridor and Thaltej Underpass near Binori Hotel and Hiramani School.
- Opposite Grand Bhagwati between Thalage underpass and Pakwan flyoverbridge.
- Between Pakwan Flyover Bridge-ISKCON Flyover Bridge near Rajpath Club and Rangoli Plot.
- Vaishnadevi Circle, Near Nirma University, Near Hiramani School.

Therefore, in the road safety meeting, instructions have been given to provide free parking facility under Bhopal Vakil Bridge on SP Ring Road. AUDA officer was instructed to pass a proposal to make parking arrangements for 108 ambulances under various bridges on SP Ring Road in the next meeting of AUDA board. Parking facility for about 80 to 100 vehicles of 108 will be made on SP Ring Road.
