The holy Amarnath Yatra is going to start from June 29. This journey will last for 52 days. Last time it ran for 60 days from July 1. This time snowfall happened late and is still continuing. There is more than 10 feet of snow in the cave area. Both the trek routes from Pahalgam and Baltal to the cave are buried in 2 to 10 feet of snow. Therefore, the chances of melting till June are less. In such a situation, the army is preparing the travel route according to every weather.
For the first time, both routes will be completely equipped with 5G fiber network. 10 mobile towers will be installed as soon as the snow melts.
