Amarnath Yatra: Another batch of 4,875 pilgrims left from Jammu

Jammu, July 15 (HS). Another batch of 4,875 pilgrims left for Kashmir Valley from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for the Amarnath cave.

The pilgrims left the Jammu base camp on Monday morning in a convoy of 162 vehicles. The group included 3464 men, 1333 women, 14 children, 57 sadhus and 7 sadhvis. Out of these, 1918 pilgrims left for Baltal base camp at 3:05 am and 2957 pilgrims left for Pahalgam base camp at 3:50 am, from where they will proceed for their onward journey to the holy cave. So far, more than 3 lakh devotees have visited Baba Barfani.
