Alwar Police arrested cyber fraudster | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Jaipur/Alwar, June 10 (HS). Under Operation Antivirus being run in Alwar district, the Nauganva police station raided the cyber fraud-affected village Roopwas and arrested a cyber fraudster Wasim Akram (23) and recovered two Android mobiles used in the fraud.

Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma said that Operation Antivirus is being run against online fraudsters on the instructions of Police Headquarters and IG Range. Under this campaign, Nauganva police station has arrested accused Wasim Akram by raiding Roopwas village affected by cyber fraud. Police have found documents related to cyber fraud in both the mobiles found with him. The arrested accused Wasim Akram carries out cyber fraud in various ways. He creates fake IDs on social media with fake SIM cards and sells vehicles at cheap rates by posing as an army man and cheats people by putting up ads for pens and pencils. He gets the cheated amount transferred to an account created on a VPN payment gateway created with a fake number.
