Nawada, 19 September (HS). Former Nawada MP Chandan Singh condemned the case of burning down the houses of two dozen Mahadalits of Krishna Nagar Mahadali Toll of Dadour Gram Panchayat of Mufassil police station of the district and making them homeless, and on Thursday demanded compensation of Rs. 10 lakh each for the Mahadalit families from the Chief Minister of Bihar and the district administration officials. He said that the way armed criminals surrounded the Mahadalits and opened fire on them, this can certainly be called a blot on humanity.
He has also demanded strict action against the culprits. Former MP Chandan Singh has said that some people of the society, by getting involved in such criminal activities, push the entire society into the mire of infamy. Which is not right. He said that due to some people with criminal mindset, an atmosphere of unrest has prevailed in the society today.
He called the DM of Nawada and demanded to control the situation and take strict action against the culprits. The former MP has said that he will soon meet the victim Mahadalits and try to provide them all possible help.
