Allegation of fraud of Rs 88 lakh, victim pleads

Haridwar, 30 October (HIST). A person has accused a person of cheating in a land deal in Bahadarabad police station area of ​​Haridwar. Victim Faisal alleges that accused Jahangir cheated him of Rs 88 lakh 50 thousand on the pretext of selling him land.

While talking at a guest house in Piran Kaliyar, Faisal, a resident of Badhedi Rajputana of police station Bahadarabad, told the journalists that when he met Jahangir, a resident of Shantarshah police station Bahadarabad, he told him about a land for sale and buying it. After that he gave Rs 88 lakh 50 thousand to Jahangir in three installments. After a few days, when the victim asked for the deed of the land, Jahangir started reluctant, after which the victim collected information about the land mentioned, in which he got information about the land dispute. The victim refused to take the disputed land and asked the accused to return his money.

It is alleged that the accused Jahangir, along with his associates, filed a fake case against him and held a press conference, in which they tarnished the image of his family and him by making false allegations. The accused attacked the victim with the intention of killing him and injured his companion and him. In which Bahadurabad Police has registered a case under relevant sections against six people including the main conspirator Jahangir and a woman.

It is alleged that Jahangir and his associates trap innocent people in the name of shares by showing them disputed and fake lands and extort huge amounts of money from them. When people demand their money back after getting information about them, then to put pressure on them, they file false cases and tarnish the image of the family. These are mafia type people. The victim has appealed to the police administration to provide security to his life and property and that of his family.
