Public Holiday: A local holiday has been declared on August 2 in Gautam Buddha Nagar. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has cancelled the holiday on August 3 for the Shivratri Jalabhishek of the month of Sawan and declared a local holiday on August 2, Friday. All schools and colleges in the district as well as government offices will remain closed on August 2.
The District Magistrate has issued a memorandum in this regard. However, during this time the instructions regarding traffic will remain the same. During the passage of Kanwar Yatra, traffic policemen will stop the traffic and show the way to the Kanwariyas. -Heavy, medium and light vehicles going from Delhi-Badarpur Border Okhla Barrage via Noida and Ghaziabad to Bulandshahr, Hapur, Moradabad will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
-Heavy, medium and light vehicles going from Delhi via DND flyover to Ghaziabad via Bulandshahr, Hapur, Moradabad to Noida will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
– Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad via Chilla Red Light will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
-Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad from the elevated road built on MP-01 route will use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
-Heavy, medium and light vehicles going to Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad from NIB, Model Town, Chhijarsi, Taj Highway will be returned and run via Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
– Heavy, medium and light goods vehicles going from Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Secunderabad towards Ghaziabad, Delhi via Dadri NH-91 will use the Eastern Peripheral.
-Heavy, medium and light goods vehicles going to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via Secunderabad, Kasna via Pari Chowk will use the Eastern Peripheral from Sirsa roundabout.
