Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday (September 19) targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party and the central government. Addressing a public meeting under the 'Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar' program in Meral of Garhwa district, he said that all the former Chief Ministers of the state have joined the BJP to remove me from the post of Chief Minister.

CM Hemant Soren said that the Prime Minister is also with him. All the people are on one side and I am on the other side. But I have the blessings of the people. Elections are near in the state. In such a situation, the conspirators who divide Hindus and Muslims are returning to the state. People from Gujarat, UP, Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh will be found in every village.

CM Soren alleged, “These people will gather crowds with the power of money and will spread poison on caste, religion and sect. They should be packed in election bags and sent back to where they came from. Those who steal votes should be thrown out of the state.”

Accusing the central government of giving step-motherly treatment to Jharkhand, Soren said, “For four years, we are tired of rubbing our noses in front of the Centre, they did not pay the state's dues. When we demanded Jharkhand's rights, they put us in jail. For three years, we kept demanding housing for the poor, but they did not allow it. Now that the election is near, we are showing interest in giving 20 lakh houses under the state government's Abua Awas Yojana.”

Soren said, “We work to empower the poor here by giving them pension and Samman Rashi as a support for their old age, we work to empower the youth, we work to build good schools for children, but then the BJP gets a stomachache. My next goal is to strengthen every household in 5 years and this government of yours will give Rs 1 lakh to every household.”

CM Soren said, “We have made electricity free up to 200 units and have also waived off the outstanding electricity bills up to 200 units. This has benefited lakhs of people. Our first priority is to make the village economically strong. When the village is strong, the state will automatically become strong

Terming the Jharkhand assembly elections as a fight between the rich and the poor, he said that BJP people come to you for help when needed, when their work is done, they remove the poor like a fly from milk. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said, “This is their work. This upcoming fight is going to be between the rich and the poor. These people will work to break the family, party and society with the power of money. We need to be careful about this.”
