A woman named Michelle Reyes made a video of a mysterious object and shared it with people. US federal aviation authorities have started searching for the mysterious object after the video. They believe that these can prove to be a threat to planes.
According to a report in the New York Post, Reyes recorded video from a commercial airline while flying to LaGuardia Airport on March 25, when he saw a mysterious cylinder-like object flying past his plane window.
“The first thing I did was email the FAA to tell them what I saw,” he said. He gave this information to the local media on Wednesday.
He further said, maybe it was a security risk, but unfortunately I did not get any response from them, they probably did not even see my email.
Another person present on the flight also saw this object. It's a little disturbing and what I've seen is what someone else has seen.
Thomas Wertman, state director of the Mutual UFO Network in Ohio, reviewed the footage and said the object was flying at about 2,500 feet and was very close in flight when it prepared to land. He said the height, size and location of the object made it unlikely that it could be a helicopter, drone or military aircraft.
The video recorded by Reyes has no edits. Drones don't fly that high, at least not legally. If it's defense or law enforcement related you don't usually see it at a place like a major airport.
Wortman has spent years studying UFOs. It could be a potential threat, he said, and the unusual circular shape of the object they found is strange because it rules out the theory that it was another plane. “It looks like it is not a commercial plane because I don't see any wings or anything like feathers on it,” he said.
