Jodhpur, August 11 (HS). Operation Alert of Border Security Force (BSF) started on India-Pakistan International Border from Sunday. In view of Independence Day, BSF will remain on high alert on the border till August 20. High alert has been issued on the border in the name of Operation Alert.
In view of Independence Day, the BSF, which is called the country's first line of defence, has sounded an alert on the border to prevent the possibility of infiltration and smuggling. Along with this, the BSF is also on alert on the border in view of the situation in Bangladesh. The Pakistan border adjoining Rajasthan is being closely monitored across the border. BSF's North Sector DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore said that the BSF protects the country by remaining deployed on the border throughout the year. During national festivals, the security cover is strengthened even more so that no untoward incident takes place from across the border. All officers and jawans remain deployed with their modern weapons for security 24 hours a day.
BSF's special operation:
In view of Independence Day, BSF has launched a special campaign on the border which has been named Operation Alert. During this campaign, along with increasing patrolling, the number of security checkpoints has also been increased. Patrolling on camels and foot patrolling has also been increased. The border is being monitored 24 hours a day so that any undesirable activity from across the border can be stopped. During this time, along with the soldiers of the Border Security Force, all the officers will also remain on the border. Separate soldiers have been deployed in sensitive areas.

Officers and soldiers from all branches of BSF are participating in this exercise. The Border Security Force makes special arrangements to prevent any kind of infiltration from the far-flung deserted places on the border. This is an opportunity to closely examine our preparations and personnel are also examined for any shortcomings. Along with this, in view of the situation in Bangladesh, the BSF is on high alert on the border so that any undesirable incident from across the border can be prevented.
