Jaipur, August 14 (HS). Heavy rains occurred in Jaipur, Nagaur and Jodhpur on Wednesday. The highest rainfall of 104 mm was recorded in Nagaur. On Wednesday, moderate to heavy rains were recorded in about 14 cities including Jaipur. Due to heavy rains, roads in Jaipur, Nagaur and Jodhpur turned into rivers. At many places, water entered shops in the markets. From August 17, the rains in the state will start slowing down.
According to the Water Resources Department, 90 mm rainfall was recorded in Tinwari of Jodhpur, 88 mm in Bapini of Phalodi, 60 mm in Bansur of Kotputli-Bahrod, 66 mm in Laxmangarh of Sikar and 51 mm in Alwar.

The highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan has been recorded in Mundawar (Alwar) at 92 mm and Pokhran Jaisalmer in western Rajasthan at 55 mm. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded at 38 degrees in Sriganganagar and the highest minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees in Barmer.
