Mumbai: The name of Akshay Kumar's film 'The Untold Story of C. Shankaran Nair' has been changed to 'Shankar'.
Karan Johar is producing this biopic of C. Shankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought against British rule before independence. Madhavan and Ananya Panday are Akshay's co-stars. C. This film is being made on the book written by Shankaran Nair's grandson.
The shooting of the film has started since last year. However, most of the shooting is still left. The responsibility of directing this film has been entrusted to debutant director Karan Singh Tyagi. It is being told that Ananya Pandey is playing the role of Akshay Kumar's assistant in the film.
