Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, who has been giving flops continuously for the last few years, has once again taken refuge in patriotism. He has decided to work in the remake of Nana Patekar and Rajkumar's superhit film 'Tiranga'. The film was originally produced by Mehul Kumar. He has sold the rights of the film to Narendra Hirawat. However, the title 'Tiranga' is still with Mehul Kumar. So even though the story of Akshay's film will be the same, its name will not be 'Tiranga'.
According to Mehul Kumar in an interview, 'Tiranga' was an all-time memorable film. Such films should not be remade.' However, this is my opinion. Now those who have the authority can take the right decision. A few years ago, Akshay Kumar started doing so many films on patriotic themes one after the other that people started calling him the new Manoj Kumar of Bollywood.
