Akhilesh Yadav raised questions on preparations, gave advice to the administration

Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is continuously raising questions regarding the Mahakumbh 2025 to be held in Prayagraj. Recently, he posted on social media and gave suggestions to the administration regarding the preparations for Mahakumbh.

Akhilesh Yadav’s sarcasm on administration

Akhilesh Yadav posted on his social media account X and wrote:

“By the way, the wires are not ‘laid’ but ‘installed’ on the poles… and that too in time, so that there is enough time for security checkup. It is good that this issue came to the notice of the government and administration. “Hopefully now the preparations for the fair will pick up the right pace instead of moving at a snail’s pace.”
He said that Samajwadi Party will play the role of positive opposition and will continue to draw attention to the shortcomings of organizing the Maha Kumbh.

Satire on electric poles

Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had shared a video on the preparations for Mahakumbh, in which electric poles without wires were shown. He wrote sarcastically:

“Look at the wonders of the BJP government, poles without wires! The socialists had already said in the song, ‘The pillar is standing without electricity.’ This is not a song or legend in BJP rule, but 100 percent truth.”

This comment raises serious questions on the administration regarding the power management of Mahakumbh.

Questions on the preparations of the police department

While sharing another video related to Mahakumbh, Akhilesh Yadav raised questions on the working style of the police department. He said:

“For a big event like Maha Kumbh, the management of the security circle cannot be postponed till the last day. This work should have been completed long ago.”
He accused the administration of working at a slow pace and said that the BJP government was quick in removing the statue of Emperor Harsh Vardhan in Prayagraj, but the same promptness was not shown in the preparations for Mahakumbh.

Role of Samajwadi Party

Akhilesh Yadav also said that his party’s aim is to draw attention to the shortcomings of the government so that Mahakumbh 2025 can be organized in a better way.

• He appealed to give proper pace to the preparations for Mahakumbh and complete the work on time.
• He also assured that his party will play the role of positive opposition on this issue.
