In the series of 'State-wide PDA tree planting campaign' being run by Samajwadi Party from July 1 to July 7, the party's national president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav gave the message of environmental protection by planting a tree at the party's state headquarters on Sunday. Akhilesh concluded the PDA tree planting campaign by planting a banyan tree in the office.
On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav said that it is very important to plant and protect trees to keep the earth green and protect the environment. Today global warming has become a matter of concern for the whole world. To avoid global warming, it is necessary to increase tree cover and forest cover by planting more and more trees. During the Samajwadi government, a lot of work was done in Uttar Pradesh towards increasing tree cover. Trees were planted on a large scale in vacant spaces in parks along rivers, lakes, canals, and the planted trees were also taken care of.
The trees planted in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park, Janeshwar Mishra Park, Gomti Riverfront, Lucknow PGI built in Lucknow during the Samajwadi government are examples of this. Similarly, trees were planted in the entire state. Like every year, this year too, Samajwadi Party has run a campaign in the entire state and planted a large number of neem, peepal and banyan trees, fulfilling their social responsibility and protecting the environment.
