Ajmeripur Bairiya school submerged in flood water, problems in teaching and learning | News India

Bhagalpur, September 19 (HS). The Government Secondary School of Ajmeripur Bairiya of Rattipur Bairiya Panchayat of Nathnagar block of the district has been completely submerged in flood water. Nearly 1000 students studying in the school are not able to study. All the class rooms, library and toilets of the school are filled with water. This water has filled the school due to the continuous rise in the water level of the Ganges.

Student Adarsh ​​Sharma told that flood water is filled inside his school and half yearly examination is going on in the school which will continue till 26th September. There is a lot of water on the way to school. Due to which the lives of children are in danger. Information has been sent to the authorities by the school management. Principal Manoj Kumar Mandal told that children from two-three villages come to the school for studies, who have to come to school by walking in the water. Half yearly assessment examination was going on in the school.

Due to the excessive rise in flood water, children are somehow reaching school. The problem still remains as to how the upcoming exams will be conducted. The education department has been informed about this verbally. It is worth mentioning that there are 7 schools under BRCC. Out of which 3 schools have been submerged in water. Due to which it is becoming difficult to carry out teaching-learning work.
