Ajmer Sharif Dargah announces… 4000 kg vegetarian feast organized on PM Modi's birthday | News India

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his 74th birthday on 17 September with great pomp. On this occasion, Ajmer Sharif Dargah has made a big announcement. It has been told that on 17 September, 4000 kg of vegetarian feast will be prepared and distributed at Ajmer Sharif Dargah.

In conjunction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday and Seva Pakhwada, the historic and world-famous Badi Shahi Deeg will be used at Ajmer Dargah Sharif and 4000 kg of vegetarian langar will be prepared. Dargah officials say that this tradition of the dargah has been going on for more than 550 years.

Pure rice and ghee, dry fruits etc. will be used

Syed Afshan Chishti of Ajmer Sharif said on Wednesday that vegetarian food will be distributed to the people on this day. He said that on PM Modi's birthday, service programs will be organized at religious places across the country. We will prepare 4,000 kg of vegetarian food using pure rice with ghee, dry fruits etc. It will be distributed among teachers and the poor. Syed Afshan Chishti said that we will also pray for PM Modi's long life on his birthday. The entire langar is being organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation and the Chishti Foundation of Ajmer Sharif.

Special prayers will be offered for the Prime Minister

Dargah officials have said that the entire process from lighting the kadhai to serving the food is done with utmost respect and care. It serves thousands of devotees and sadhaks. It is being told that the ceremony will start at 10:30 pm with the lighting of a large royal kadhai inside the dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. On this day, special prayers will be offered for peace, unity, prosperity and the well-being of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Dargah officials have informed that the food distribution will continue till morning so that all the attendees and the surrounding community can participate in the meal. Volunteers will help distribute the food in a systematic manner. Officials said that the program will conclude with a prayer of gratitude and unity for the welfare of the nation and overall humanity. They said that this program not only symbolizes the birthday celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but also reflects the spirit of service and community welfare.
