Baghpat, 11 November (HS). An Air Force soldier died in a road accident on the Delhi-Saharanpur road in Baghpat district. The soldier was going to Dehradun on a bike. The police have informed the concerned authorities and got the post-mortem done on the body.
Ramala Police says that Air Force soldier Sunil Kashyap had left Delhi for Dehradun on bike from his duty at night. As soon as he reached near the toll plaza in Ramala police station area on Delhi-Saharanpur Highway, he was hit by a tractor trolley and a pickup vehicle. Police say that due to the collision, the bike fell and caught fire, while the soldier riding the bike was badly injured. Who was admitted to Badaut CHC. But the soldier died during treatment. Ramala police identified the soldier and informed his office. Air Force personnel and his family members reached the spot. The body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
