Air Force fighter plane MiG-29 crashes in Barmer, Rajasthan, pilot safe | News India

An Air Force fighter plane has crashed in Barmer district of Rajasthan. It is being told that there was a technical fault in the MiG-29 fighter jet. Due to which it crashed. However, there is no report of any loss of life in the accident. The pilot is safe. This accident happened during routine practice. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Nagana police station and Air Force officials reached the spot. The pilot has not suffered any harm in the accident, the pilot is completely safe. After the accident, the plane caught fire and fire engines were sent to the spot to extinguish the fire.

The Air Force issued a statement saying that the pilot was not harmed in the accident. However, the Air Force says that an investigation is being conducted to find out how this accident happened. The fighter plane crashed far from the residential area. The accident happened around 10 pm on Monday night.

Barmer Collector Nishant Jain, Superintendent of Police Narendra Meena and other senior officials reached the accident site. Meena said that the incident took place away from the populated area. He also said that there was no loss of life after the accident. Meena also said that the place where the plane crashed was filled with rainwater. Due to which fire engines had difficulty reaching the spot. Local people came forward to help. He said that a radius of 400 meters from the plane has been sealed. The fighter plane is still burning. Therefore, action will be taken as per the SOP of the Air Force. Investigation has been started.
