AIMIM Gujarat President Sabir Kabliwala has said that our leadership has decided to field party candidates from Bharuch and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seats. The names of the candidates will be announced soon. It is noteworthy that both Bharuch and Gandhinagar seats have a large Muslim population. Amit Shah is MP from Gandhinagar, Mansukh Vasava is MP from Bharuch. Both the leaders are contesting elections from the same seat in 2024 also.

What was the result of Gandhinagar seat in 2019?

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah registered a big victory from Gandhinagar seat. Amit Shah defeated his rival Congress candidate by 5,57,014 votes. He got about 8,94,000 votes. This time Congress has given ticket to Sonal Patel from Gandhinagar. Congress has not won here since 1984.

When will voting take place in Gujarat?

Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases. The first phase of voting will take place on April 19. The second phase of voting will be held on April 26. The third phase of voting will take place on May 7. The fourth phase of voting will be held on May 13. The fifth phase of voting will be held on May 20. The sixth phase of voting will be held on May 25. The seventh phase of voting will take place on June 1. The third phase of voting in Gujarat will be held on May 7. Elections will be held simultaneously for all 26 seats. The result will be declared on June 4.
