An Air India flight going from Delhi to America had to make an emergency landing at Krasnoyarsk International Airport in Russia, but after this the passengers had to face a lot of trouble. The passengers who got off the plane did not get proper food or water at the airport.
Passengers posted on X and hoped for help from Air India. Air India has sent a flight from Mumbai to help the stranded passengers. While Indian consulate officials are working with Russian authorities to find hotels for the passengers stranded at the airport. On Thursday night, a flight from Delhi to the US was diverted and landed in Russia. Air India said that AI-183 was diverted to Krasnoyarsk International Airport in Russia by the cockpit crew after receiving information about a technical fault in the cargo hold area.
A special plane was sent from Mumbai for help
Air India has sent a flight from Mumbai at 11 am on Friday to help the passengers stranded at Krasnoyarsk airport in Russia. Air India said that permission has been received for the relief flight. Food and water facilities have been made available at the terminal.
