If reports are to be believed, the central government has announced reservation for Agniveers in paramilitary forces BSF and CISF. The central government has announced 10 percent reservation for Agniveers in BSF. This decision has been taken by the Home Ministry.

There will be a relaxation of 5 years in age

On this whole matter, BSF said that Agniveers are prepared after 4 years of hard work. Including them in your team is just like including a prepared soldier in your team. All forces will get the benefit of Agniveer scheme. After a little training, they can be deployed on the front. We will give them 10 percent reservation. Along with this, they will also be given 5 years relaxation in the age limit.

Only the first batch will get 5 years age relaxation

During this time, it was clarified by the BSF that the 5-year exemption is only for the Agniveers of the first batch. Whereas, the subsequent batches will be given only 3 years exemption. Let us tell you that this decision has been taken by the central government regarding Agniveers at a time when all the opposition parties of the country are constantly pressuring the central government to withdraw this scheme. In the Lok Sabha elections, the All India Alliance had also promised to end this scheme.

Exemption has been given in UP and Haryana

Let us tell you that Agniveers are also given relaxation in jobs in many states. Recently, the Haryana government had announced three years of age-related reservation for Agniveers in Group B and C jobs in the state. Along with this, 10 percent reservation was also announced in jobs like state police, mining guard recruitment. In Uttar Pradesh too, the Yogi government had announced to give priority in state police recruitment and other related services.
