After winning the match for Delhi by scoring 88 runs in 43 balls, Pant won hearts by apologizing, know why?

Rishabh Pant: Delhi Capitals team has won another match in IPL 2024. In the match played on 24 April, Delhi defeated Gujarat Titans by 4 wickets. Delhi captain Rishabh Pant batted brilliantly in the match. Pant scored 88 runs in about 43 balls. He was also named Player of the Match for his excellent performance. However, an incident occurred during the match which forced Pant to apologize.

Pant hit a lot of fours during his explosive innings. The wicketkeeper batsman hit 5 fours and 9 sixes. Meanwhile, one of Pant's shots hit the cameraman. This incident happened in the 16th over of Delhi's innings. Pant hit a chopper shot on the first ball of the over bowled by Mohit Sharma. The ball went out of the boundary towards midwicket. However, the ball went straight to the cameraman. Due to which he got injured.

After the match, a video was shared on the official Twitter account of IPL. In which Pant was seen with team coach Ricky Ponting. Meanwhile, Pant apologized to the cameraman and prayed for his speedy recovery. Pant said, “Sorry, Devashish Bhai. I didn't mean to hurt you. I hope you get well soon. May you be successful.”
