After the rooftop scheme, now the solar pump scheme is being considered for the benefit of the earthlings |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

While the government is running a campaign to increase the use of solar energy, which is getting good response, now work has been done towards the campaign of solar pumps to benefit the people of the earth. The government has considered this under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha and Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM). The government wants to create a national portal through which farmers can directly connect with solar pump sellers. Direct interaction between farmers and sellers on the portal will help the world to choose solar pumps as per their choice and also save time in installing solar pumps. At present this idea is in the preparation stage.

Government officials say that we want to improve the implementation of some parts of PM-KUSUM, as it has been observed that many proposals under the scheme are getting delayed. The scheme may include a national portal for solar pump installation, which will be one of the three components of PM-KUSUM, as the government had amended the solar rooftop scheme announced in February to include solar pumps. -Amendments will also be made in Kusum. The three components under the PM-KUSUM scheme include installation of solar power units up to 10,000 MW, installation of about 20 lakh standalone solar agriculture pumps and solarization of 15 lakh agriculture pumps. Rationalization of installation of agricultural pumps and their solarization is being discussed.

Under the National Registration for Solar Pumps, farmers will be able to directly convey their requirement to the seller, which will free the farmers from the hassle of tendering the pumps through the state.
