After the meeting of INDIAA, the picture will be clear on the vacant posts in the state cabinet

Ranchi, July 2 (HS). Two ministerial posts are still vacant in the Jharkhand government. It is possible that the cabinet expansion will be completed in the meeting of INDIAA on Wednesday. Also, there is a possibility of an end to the speculations of change of leadership in power. Therefore, this meeting is considered important in many matters. MLAs of the three ruling parties JMM, Congress and RJD, party officials along with MLAs of CPI-ML will also attend the meeting.

Even after more than three weeks have passed since the resignation of Congress Legislature Party leader and Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam in the Champai Soren government, the seat vacated by his resignation has not been filled yet. During the swearing-in of the Champai government, JMM MLA and former minister Baidyanath Ram had also received an invitation to come to the Raj Bhavan to join the cabinet, but it was put on hold at the last moment after Congress' objection.

In this regard, State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur said that political events have changed rapidly in the state and Mahagathbandhan leader Hemant Soren has been granted bail. The bail is being celebrated right now. As soon as this is over, the work of cabinet expansion will be completed. He said that more discussion is taking place in the media about cabinet expansion than in political parties.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) central spokesperson and central committee member Manoj Pandey said that there is no stubbornness among the allies on any issue. He said that everything is decided regarding the 12th minister. He said that if there is any issue or stubbornness between JMM or Congress, RJD, then their leader working president Hemant Soren will resolve it very efficiently.

According to political experts, there is almost a consensus on the name of Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari for one of the cabinet posts that fell vacant after Alamgir Alam's resignation, but the whole issue is stuck on the post of the 12th minister. Before the assembly elections, JMM wants to give a message to the public, especially the scheduled caste community, by making a Dalit a minister that the Mahagathbandhan government in the state wants to make Dalits a partner in power. Therefore, there is a plan to make JMM MLA and former minister Baidyanath Ram a minister from Latehar.

Congress has been claiming the 12th ministerial post as its right from the beginning. This is the reason why despite the name being sent to the Raj Bhavan, Baidyanath Ram could not become a minister due to opposition from the Congress. The same situation still persists. The Congress high command has no problem in making Irfan a minister in place of Alamgir.
