After the failure of Upar Chhapaari, Akshay also helped South

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, who has been continuously giving flop films in Bollywood for a long time, is now moving to South for quick success. He is going to play the role of Lord Shiva in Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's film 'Kanappa'.

Akshay's 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' has proved to be a flop at the box office. In the last two years, he has been sidelined due to most of his films being flops.

Vishnu Manchu, a co-star of the film, shared the picture on social media and wrote that the joy and thrill of working with Akshay Kumar has increased since he joined Kannappa. I am extremely happy to announce that the actor has made his debut in the Tegulu film industry.

The budget of this film directed by Mudesh Kumar Singh is Rs 100 crore. Prabhas, Mohanlal, Kriti Sanon and others star.

Akshay's role in the film has not been clarified. But, it is being said that he is playing the role of Lord Shiva.
