Three JJP MLAs join BJP ahead of Haryana assembly elections: Elections are to be held on 5 October for 90 assembly seats in Haryana. Even before this election, many political parties are insisting on Adchotti. In such a situation, the adverse effects of the separation of the JJP leader who supported the ruling party of Haryana for four years are being seen. Three rebel MLAs of JJP party have joined BJP. MLAs Anoop Dhanak, Ram Kumar Gautam and Jogi Ram Sihag joined BJP during a rally in Jind on Sunday.
With three JJP MLAs joining the BJP, the ruling party will be strengthened ahead of the assembly elections, amid speculation that more members may join the BJP. At the BJP rally held in Jind, they were welcomed by Ambala Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, party state president Mohan Lal Badoli and party's state affairs co-incharge Biplab Kumar Deb. Shakti Rani Sharma is the wife of former Union minister Vinod Sharma.
BJP welcomed these MLAs
Vinod Sharma's son and independent Rajya Sabha member Kartikeya Sharma was also present at the Jind event. Dhanak, Gautam and Sihag were JJP MLAs but they left the party a few days ago. Another JJP MLA Ramniwas Surjekhera is also not seen. Jind police had recently registered a rape case against him. He did not come to the rally, while there was talk that he would join the BJP. Sources say that the party is currently avoiding accepting him because a rape case has been registered against him.
Joined BJP on the condition of ticket
All three MLAs associated with BJP want tickets. They had also supported BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections. Apart from this, they were constantly making statements targeting Dushyant Chautala. In such a situation, it was believed for many months that these people would leave Dushyant Chautala.
Dushyant Chautala broke ties with BJP
Dushyant Chautala was a part of the government almost throughout the second term of the BJP government. But he parted ways before the Lok Sabha elections. He believed that this would help him in the Lok Sabha elections, but he was not even successful in opening an account. Apart from this, MLAs are also leaving continuously. Anoop Dhanak is expecting a ticket from BJP on the Uklana seat. Apart from this, Ramkumar Gautam is contesting from a seat in Jind.
