Paresh Goswami Ni Agahi, Gujarat Weather Forecast: The Meteorological Department has officially announced the departure of the southwest monsoon from West Rajasthan and Kutch district of Gujarat. However, the effect of cyclonic circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal will reach Gujarat and the last round of rain will come in Gujarat. Under which there may be widespread rain in the state for the next 4 to 5 days.
Explaining this in detail, well-known meteorologist Paresh Goswami said that the departure of the southwest monsoon has started, but due to the system that is forming inside the Bay of Bengal, the last phase of the monsoon is coming. As the days pass, this system will become stronger. Due to this, there may be 2 to 5 inches of rain in different parts of Gujarat till September 30.
Meanwhile, Meghraja will make South Gujarat stormy. In which districts like Surat, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Rajpipla, Valsad and Navsari may receive 4 to 6 inches of rain along with strong winds.
Talking about Central Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Anand and Kheda will receive moderate rainfall. While Chhota Udaipur, Dahod, Mahisagar and Panchmahal districts may receive 2 to 3 inches of rain.
Talking about North Gujarat, districts like Sabarkantha, Banaskantha may receive 3 inches of rain, Aravalli may receive 2 to 4 inches of rain and light to moderate rain may occur in Patan and Mehsana districts.
As far as Saurashtra and Kutch are concerned, there is less chance of rain in Kutch. However, Botad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir-Somnath and Junagadh districts of Saurashtra may receive 1 to 4 inches of rain. While Morbi, Surendranagar, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Porbandar and Rajkot districts may receive light to moderate rain.
In such a situation, rain will be seen in different parts of the state for the next five days. The special thing is that this is the last phase of the monsoon of 2024, which will end on September 30. After which the regular departure of monsoon from Gujarat will begin.
