Ajit faction gets ‘crocodile’ election symbol
The Election Commission declared Ajit Pawar’s faction as the real NCP and gave them the party name and ‘crocodile’ election symbol. Sharad Pawar faction challenged this matter in the Supreme Court. The court then allowed the Sharad Pawar group to use the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Chandra Pawar) as its name and election symbol ‘Tutari’ (in which a person is seen playing a trumpet) for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections .
The court allowed Ajit Pawar’s group to use the party name ‘NCP’ and election symbol ‘Alligator’ for the elections. Sharad Pawar faction opposed this. The matter is pending in the Supreme Court. Sharad Pawar accused Ajit Pawar’s group of violating court orders by using NCP’s name and symbol.
Pratik is the reason for the poor performance of Sharad Pawar group
