After the by-elections in the state, BJP will form government and Congress will be out of power: Jairam

Solan, April 10 (Hindustan Reporter) Former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jairam Thakur said that the Chief Minister of the state and his leaders are making inappropriate comments about their MLAs who have resigned from the Congress government. Sometimes they are being called sheep and sometimes frogs. The Congress government is repeatedly blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party and alleging that they have been bought by paying money. The Congress government says that Jairam Thakur is hungry for power.

Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Jairam Thakur was talking to journalists here on Wednesday. He said that after the political developments that have taken place in Himachal Pradesh in the past few days, the situation of the Congress government in the state has become very ridiculous. After forming the government in the state, the Congress government kept saying that it is a government of system change, a government of happiness, but the reality is that the Congress party government in Himachal Pradesh has lost its moral right to remain in power. This government has fallen in the eyes of the public and has also fallen in the eyes of the majority. The people of the entire state believe that at present the Congress government, despite being in power, has lost its moral authority.

Jairam said that the Congress government gave false guarantees. State President of Congress Party had already announced not to contest elections from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency. Congress party MLAs expressed their views not once but many times but despite this, their views were neither accepted nor heard. Ultimately the circumstances became such that Congress lost in the Rajya Sabha voting.

Jairam Thakur alleged that the Congress government is saying a lot out of nervousness. The institutions which were running during the 15 months of government in the state were closed. In Himachal Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party took a loan of Rs 19,600 crore in 5 years, but the Congress government has taken a loan of Rs 18,000 crore in 15 months. All limits of corruption have been broken. Everyone is leaving the industrial sector in Himachal Pradesh.

He said that considering the current situation in Himachal Pradesh, we had won all four seats in 2014 for this Lok Sabha election. 2019 is a record for Himachal Pradesh, which has never happened before. BJP had won on 68 seats. If any state remained at number one in terms of vote share across the country, it was Himachal which won all four seats.

Speaking on the three independent MLAs of the state, he said that so much pressure was put on the three independent MLAs of the state that cases were started being registered against their family members and finally all three sat down and decided that they will not come under pressure. We will go inside the Assembly as an independent MLA.

He said that if three by-elections are held along with six by-elections, then by-elections would be held in nine assembly constituencies and the Bharatiya Janata Party would win this by-election. With this the Congress government will be out of power. This time two governments will be formed with this election. A BJP government will be formed, one in Delhi and one in Himachal Pradesh.
