Rhea admitted that that period had pushed her and her entire family into deep post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression. Recalling the experience of 28 days spent in Byculla jail, Rhea said that staying alive and maintaining hope behind the bars was the biggest fight in the world. While outside, hatred was being spread against him on TV channels 24 hours a day, inside the jail, he understood the simplicity and real meaning of life among the prisoners. Riya said that that painful period completely eliminated the fear of death and infamy from her.
New beginning of life with ‘Chapter 2’
Leaving behind the dark and difficult times, Rhea Chakraborty has now started ‘Chapter 2’ of her life. She has started her own podcast, where she candidly discusses life’s struggles, mental health and re-invention with celebrities.
