After Siwan in Bihar, a bridge built on the Gandak river collapsed in Saran district

Patna, July 3 (HS). After the incident of bridge collapse in Siwan district of Bihar on Wednesday, another bridge collapsed in Saran district. The incident of bridge collapse took place in Janata Bazar police station area of ​​Saran district.

This bridge built on the Gandak river in 2010-11 in Janata Bazar of Lahladpur block of Saran district was very old. The bridge collapsed into the river due to the pressure of rising water level in the river due to rain. There is no news of any casualty in the incident.

According to the local people, there are two parallel bridges in Janata Bazar. Both the bridges are very old. One of these bridges collapsed during the rains on Wednesday. A large number of people use this bridge to visit Baba Dhundh Nath temple. Traffic on the bridge was closed at the time of the incident.

As soon as the news of the bridge collapse was received, the police of the local Janta Bazar police station, Block Development Officer Lahladpur and other senior officials reached the spot. On the instructions of the officials, barricading is being done all around the bridge.
