The head coach of the RCB team in IPL 2024 was Andy Flower, batting coach Sridharan Sriram, bowling coach Adam Griffith and fielding coach Malollan Rangarajan.

Wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik announced his retirement on his 39th birthday on June 1. Karthik was seen playing for RCB in the recent IPL season.

Dhoni had earlier made his international cricket debut

It is worth noting that Dinesh Karthik made his international cricket debut before Dhoni. Dinesh Karthik made his Test debut against Australia in November 2004. At the same time, he made his ODI debut against England at Lord's on 5 September 2004. DK made his T20 debut against South Africa in Johannesburg on 1 December 2006.
