World's largest green energy plant: Gautam Adani of Adani Group is currently focusing on the energy sector. At that time, Adani Group had built the world's largest green energy plant on barren land in Khavda, Gujarat. This plant located near Pakistan is 5 times bigger than the French capital Paris.
Green energy will be generated from solar energy and wind energy in this plant built by Adani Green Energy Limited in Khavra, Gujarat near the Pakistan border. The plant covers an area of approximately 538 km², approximately 5 times the size of Paris.
According to reports, this plant has the capacity to produce 2000 mega watts i.e. 2 giga watts of electricity. According to Vineet Jain, Managing Director of Adani Green Energy, the company plans to take it to 4 GW in the financial year 2024-25 itself. When the plant is fully built and operating at full capacity, it will generate 30 gigawatts of clean electricity. In which 26 gigawatts will be produced from solar energy and 4 gigawatts from wind energy.
The company is investing about Rs 1.5 lakh crore for this plant. Housing and basic facilities are being prepared by the company for about 8000 employees near this plant.
